TRAVEL NURSING ON THE SUNSHINE COAST
"My fourth stop while traveling Australia with Alliance Nursing was the Sunshine Coast. After two weeks in croc-infested waters in Townsville, I took every chance to swim. From the Fairy Pools in Noosa to the stunning beaches along the coast, I swam in a different spot every day after work. Visiting Australia Zoo had been on my list for a long time, and I finally made it, though I wish I had more time there. The Sunshine Coast has such a relaxed vibe—everyone is out surfing, swimming, or snorkeling. It truly felt like the Aussie dream.I also did a scuba dive off Mooloolaba to the ex-HMAS Brisbane shipwreck, which was incredible. I also visited Aussie World, the coast’s only theme park, and the quirky Banana Bender Pub nearby.
Overall it was a beautiful experience, and I ended up chatting with so many people in the community."
