WHY CHOOSE MELBOURNE?
Ah Melbourne! This city offers up so many things to do – there is always a festival (the Melbourne International Comedy Festival being one of the best known), live music, new bar or exhibition to check out. If sport is your thing – there is AFL (Australian football – it’s kind of like rugby, but more complicated), tennis, motor racing, soccer and cricket, just to name a few. If weekend travel is your thing, you’ll be spoiled for choice – Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Yarra Valley, the Great Ocean Road and the Dandenong Ranges are all just a road trip away.
The downside, it’s more expensive than most other cities, although Sydney still takes the crown when it comes to the cost of living. And it’s cold in winter compared to the northern cities.

The hours are kinder with 8 hour shifts being the norm, lower staff to patient ratios (1:4-6) and better pay.
