About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our aged care team. In this role, you will support residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life in a safe and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support mobility and safe transfers using appropriate equipment
- Provide assistance with meals, feeding, and hydration
- Observe and report changes in residents’ health or behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation and care records
- Work collaboratively with nursing and care staff
- Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful living environment
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate in Service Assistance (Aged Care focus preferred)
- Previous experience in aged care or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to car
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date vaccinations as required
