Job Title: Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Aged Care
Location: Perth

About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our aged care team. In this role, you will deliver safe, high-quality clinical care to residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will play a key role in supporting residents’ health, wellbeing, and quality of life through person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing care in accordance with care plans and organisational policies
- Administer medications and treatments as per scope of practice
- Monitor, assess, and document residents’ health status and report any changes
- Assist with wound care, continence management, and chronic disease support
- Supervise and support Assistants in Nursing (AINs) and care staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control, health & safety, and aged care standards
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
Skills & Experience
- Strong clinical and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Compassion, empathy, and commitment to person-centred care
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of aged care standards, accreditation, and resident rights
- Previous experience in aged care or community care (preferred)
Mandatory Requirements
- Diploma of Nursing
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date vaccinations as per aged care requirements
- Working rights in Australia
Desirable
- Medication administration endorsement
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care
