The downside, because it’s an isolated city it can be expensive and takes longer to travel to other major cities, but there is more than enough to explore locally. It’s also quieter than Sydney or Melbourne and bands rarely tour to Perth, but this might be a positive if you’re looking for a more laidback lifestyle.
