What You’ll Need Mandatory:
• Minimum 2 years’ paid experience as a Registered Midwife
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Two clinical referees able to verify recent midwifery practice
• Full vaccination compliance (serology or immunisation records accepted)
• Current CPR and relevant emergency midwifery competencies
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision‑making skills
Desirable:
• ieMR experience or qualification (not essential)
About the Role
As an Alliance Nursing Midwife, you’ll work across a range of maternity environments aligned to your experience and preferences. Typical duties may include:
• Antenatal and postnatal care
• Labour and birth support (if within your scope)
• Neonatal care and assessments
• Ongoing clinical monitoring and documentation
• Providing safe, holistic, woman‑centred care
